The literary journal Vinduet and LitFestBergen have invited four authors from four different continents (Tishani Doshi, India; Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Nigeria; Johannes Anyuru, Sweden; Gabriela Wiener, Peru) to write personal essays on the festival theme ‘Truth’. During the festival days, the audience will be able to hear three of the authors perform the newly written texts as talks.

Abubakar Adam Ibrahim's text ‘The Writer and the Paradox of Truth’ will be performed. Ibrahim has written several novels and collections of short stories, and is a regular commentator in the newspaper The Daily Trust, where he writes about Nigerian politics and society.
