Musicians and Authors: Finding Lorca
With readings, projections, and a women’s choir accompanied by guitar.
Join us for an evening dedicated to the life and legacy of Federico García Lorca (1898-1936), one of the greatest poets and playwrights of the 20th century, whose assassination at 38 made him a symbol of the Spanish Civil War.
There will be readings, projections, and a women’s choir accompanied by guitar.
The songs and readings will be in their original Spanish, but English translations will be provided to ensure accessibility for all attendees.
The event is a collaboration between CANTA and Litteraturhuset i Bergen. With support from Fritt Ord and the Embassy of Spain in Norway.
